Larnaka is the international gateway to Cyprus, being its second port and having an international airport. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, and has plenty of historical sightseeing on offer to complement its deep-blue sea, bright sandy beaches and reliably sunny skies. With its 400-berth marina, Larnaka is also a favoured destination for visitors with yachts. Land-based tourists enjoy the palm-lined harbor promenade and the city’s international caliber shops, inviting cafes and panoramic Mediterranean views.
Larnaka is an attractive and quiet city which is the same all year round unlike many other areas of Cyprus, which tend to be very busy during the summer months and extremely quiet during the winter. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and has plenty of historical sightseeing on offer to complement its deep-blue sea, bright sandy beaches and reliably sunny skies. Its famous Palm Tree Promenade and marina ensure a picturesque coastline and Larnaka boasts many of the most appealing beaches in Cyprus. Its central location means that other cities and popular areas of Cyprus are within easy reach – Nicosia, the country’s capital, is less than 60km away, and Limassol and Paphos are approx 65km and 120km distance.

Buyer Guide
We have designed this section to cover all the areas you will need to know about for a smooth transaction.
To start with we recommend that you get independent advice from a LICENCED Estate Agent. A few offices are operating without a licence and call themselves ‘advertising agencies’, ‘consultants’ etc. These organsiations have not got the qualifications, know how or expertise to deal with the sale of property.
If you are buying land in Cyprus make sure you understand the difference between a building plot and a piece of land. A building plot has access, roads, pavements and utilities. If you buy a piece of land rather than a building plot you will have to apply and pay for all the above. It is a very costly and time-consuming process.
If you are buying a house or apartment off plan, make sure that you visit completed developments of the company you are buying from and that you like the quality of their work. Do not forget to check the history, reputation and reliability of the developer. Cyprus Dream Homes, due to their 27 years experience in the Cyprus property market will introduce you only to reputable and reliable developers.
Your LICENCED estate agent or your solicitor will make sure that a true copy of your contract of sale is filed with the District Department of Land & Surveys. Once the contract is lodged with the Department of Land and surveys it cannot be withdrawn by anyone. The property cannot be leased, sold, transferred or mortgaged unless by the purchaser.
